18 hours in Richmond

BFF Susan and her daughter Caroline, and her mom, Fun Donna, stopped in Richmond for Saturday night en route from GA to NY. Their time in Richmond was short, but we made the most of it!

The girls brought me super adorable Lilly cups! (and the best peanut butter chocolate cookies from Sweet Mama's). We put the cups to good use Saturday night while chatting on the deck, drinking wine (maybe more than one bottle?). :)
Apparently when you drink wine in Lilly cups you then think it's a good idea to go to the bar to sing karaoke. :) Hunter was a sweet husband and stayed with a sleeping Caroline (he said he would have called 911 if she had started crying because he wouldn't have known what to do)...and we walked down the street to the bar.

And Susan and I stole the show. :)Donna even danced. Hunter has always called her "Fun Donna" and she 110% lived up to her name! The Knierims love Fun Donna!!!
It is tradition to have a photo shoot with Baby Caroline when we visit. Here are some shots from Sunday morning. I asked if they could leave her with me for awhile, but her mama said no. :)

And what's a blog post without some pics of my children? Sweet Ellie was so curious about the baby, but didn't want to get too close. She tried to sleep in the same room with the baby but we said no...isn't she cute, too?While Crosby was sweet to Caroline he couldn't have cared less...he was much more interested in the breakfast food than the baby.
